Each of the videos shown on the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce website use a technology that doesn't require a "player", such as Real Player or Media Player, for faster loading. This technology uses "streaming", which means that instead of loading the entire video, only a small part of it is loaded at a time, and while that part is being played, another part is loading.
Expected load time for each video should be between 2-3 minutes on a 56K modem.
Each time the video loads, our program will automatically detect your connection speed and load the best video viewing screen for it. However, you can change the size of the viewing screen after the video has started loading. Underneath the viewing screen is a horizontal blue bar that shows the status of the video, and on the far right of that bar is a button that says Auto. By clicking on that button, you can select a higher resolution video, which will increase the size of the viewing screen. The load time will also increase accordingly.
